Fun fact: Puppeteers are bound by the Puppeteers of America constitution to share their secrets with everyone!
We love to share, we love to teach and we love to learn! We currently offer a 3-hour workshop on sound, light and movement in object performance work. The class explores the intersection and interdependence of sound, light and movement–essentials for creating a symbolic vocabulary that connects with audiences on a visceral level.
The workshop starts with an overview of the creative process, followed by several short video clips and a live demonstration. During the second half, students break into small groups and create their own short pieces. The class culminates with presentation of each piece.
We will offer this workshop in select cities on our upcoming Spring 2026 tour. We are also happy to discuss group rates if you'd like to bring us to your classroom or institution.
We also offer other workshops and will post here when they are offered!
